Investigators with the York Regional Police #4 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking assistance in identifying two suspects following an assault that occurred in the City of Vaughan.
On July 20, 2019 at approximately 4 p.m., officers were called to the Vaughan Mills Mall for a report of an assault. Officers learned that two male suspects approached a man and a women in the food court and began making offensive statements towards her. The man told the suspects to stop and as the victim was walking away, one of the suspects kicked him in the back causing him to fall to the floor. The other suspect then punched the victim in the head.
The suspects fled in a dark grey BMW.
Suspect 1:
• Male, white
• Buzz cut hair
• Wearing a white t-shirt, jean shorts and a fanny pack over his shoulder
Suspect 2:
• Male, white
• Buzz cut hair
• Wearing a white t-shirt, shorts and a fanny pack over his shoulder
Suspect vehicle:
• Dark grey BMW
• Four-door with a sunroof
