South Simcoe police are searching for a suspect after a road-rage incident allegedly escalated into an assault in Bradford Wednesday.

South Simcoe police are seeking witnesses after a victim reported an assault related to a road-rage incident in Bradford Wednesday.

The victim told police the incident happened on Meadowhawk Trail, in the northwest area of town, around the lunch hour on March 27. The argument escalated into an assault and left the victim with minor injuries, police said. 

A man driving a Jeep fled the scene before police were contacted. 

Meadowhawk residents are asked to review their surveillance footage to help identify the suspect. 

“The safety and well being of our community remains a top priority and collaborative efforts between the public and the police are key,” the department said in a media release.
