Investigators with the York Regional Police #2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking witnesses following a suspicious vehicle fire in the City of Richmond Hill.
On Sunday, April 25, 2021, at approximately 3:30 a.m., officers were called to a residence on Settlement Crescent for a report of a fire. When they arrived, they found a vehicle in the driveway fully engulfed in flames. The fire was extinguished and there were no injuries. Investigators believe the fire was intentionally set.
Investigators are appealing to anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area, or anyone with video surveillance that captured any suspicious activity, to come forward.
