Investigators with the York Regional Police Major Collision Investigation Unit are seeking witnesses following a fatal collision in the City of Vaughan.
On Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2022, at approximately 5:05 p.m., York Regional Police responded to the area of Teston Road, just east of Pine Valley Drive, for reports of a two-vehicle collision between a white Hyundai Sonata and a black Mercedes GLE.
The driver of the Hyundai, a 57-year-old man from Vaughan, was transported to hospital where he was sadly pronounced deceased.
The driver in the Mercedes had minor injuries. The investigation is ongoing and any witnesses who have not yet spoken with police, or anyone who may have dashcam footage from the area, are being asked to please come forward.
