Vaughan armed home invasion victim opened door for flower delivery

Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit are seeking suspects and witnesses following a home invasion robbery that occurred in the City of Vaughan.

On Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2021, shortly before 1 p.m., police were called to a residence on Kipling Avenue, north of Highway 7, for a report of a home invasion robbery.

Officers learned that a female suspect knocked at the door and stated she had a flower delivery. When the door was opened, two male suspects, armed with handguns, forced their way into the residence. Two victims were tied up while the suspects stole jewelry, clothes, cash and electronics.
