York Regional Police are investigating after finding two dead at a home in the area of North Lake Road and Bayview Avenue on Feb. 5
Police said they received a welfare call at about 11:30 a.m. When officers arrived on the scene, the two deceased were found.
The deaths are being investigated by York Regional Police’s homicide unit, but police said that the incident appears to be isolated and there is no threat to the public.
Investigators are working with the Office of the Chief of the Corner to determine the cause of death. Police said that post-mortem examination will take place in the next few days.
Police are asking any witness who have not yet spoken with investigators to please come forward.
