Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit are seeking public assistance in identifying four suspects following an armed robbery in the City of Markham.

On Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2018, at approximately 10:40 p.m., police responded to a robbery call at a convenience store on Masseyfield Gate, which is in the area of Warden Avenue and Steeles Avenue.

Officers learned that four suspects entered the store with their faces covered and two were carrying firearms. One of the suspects climbed over the counter and pointed a firearm at the employee.

The suspects were interrupted by a vehicle that pulled into the parking lot outside and the suspects fled on foot without obtaining anything.

The investigation is ongoing.
