Suspects sought following pharmacy robbery in Vaughan

Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit are seeking two male suspects and any witnesses following a robbery at a pharmacy in Vaughan. 

On Saturday, Nov. 5, at approximately 10:30 p.m., police responded to a pharmacy on Highway 7 near Martin Grove Road, for a report of a robbery. 

Officers learned that two male suspects entered the store and demanded drugs and access to the safe. The suspects stole drugs and left in a grey vehicle before police arrived on the scene. 

The employee was not physically injured. 

The suspects are described as: Male, Black, 17 to 20 years, both wearing dark-coloured clothing. 

Investigators are seeking any witnesses who may have seen anything suspicious in the area or anyone who may have dashcam or video surveillance footage in the area at the time. 

Investigators from the Hold-Up Unit remind business owners of the importance of maintaining and updating video surveillance equipment. Quality images help to identify suspects, can aid in arrests and have a tremendous impact during court proceedings.
