Three stolen high-end vehicles have been recovered after suspects were seen loading vehicles onto a truck, police say.

York Regional Police said they have also charged two men suspected in the thefts at a business in Vaughan.

On Feb. 13, police responded to a suspicious person call on Regina Road.

Police say people were seen loading vehicles into a shipping container that was mounted onto a flatbed truck behind a business.

Officers could see a Lexus RX350 inside the business through an open bay door that had been reported stolen from Toronto.

Another Lexus RX350 found at the rear of the unit had also been reported stolen from Toronto.

A man was arrested at the scene.

A search warrant was executed at the business the next day, where a male sleeping inside the office was arrested.

A third vehicle, a Toyota Highlander reported stolen from Halton, was also recovered from inside the unit.

All three vehicles contained reprogrammed key fobs that were used to start the vehicles, police said in a news release.

Harman Sandhu, 23, of Etobicoke, and Davinder Singh, 25, of Brampton, are charged with:

  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
  • Trafficking in Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
