Shots fired in altercation between 2 large groups in Markham

Police have released images of the suspects wanted in connection with the incident Thurday in a Warden parking lot

Police are looking for suspects after a shooting Thursday in Markham.

York Regional Police responded at about 9 p.m. to a report of gunshots in a parking lot on Warden Avenue, between Apple Creek Boulevard and Highway 7. Police learned there had been an altercation between two large groups of people and that shots were fired before they all fled the area.

No injuries were reported.

Police have released images of suspects from surveillance cameras and are asking for the public’s help to identify them.
