Shots were fired during an attempted home invasion that police believe was a targeted incident in Georgina early this morning.
Two male suspects were trying to get into the residence and had fired shots at a house on Lake Drive South on Tuesday, May 23, just after 2 a.m., York Regional Police said in a news release.
The suspects were unsuccessful and did not gain entry to the home, police said, and they fled from the residence on foot before officers arrived, police said.
The suspects are described as males wearing masks and black clothing.
Investigators would also like to speak with anyone with video surveillance or dashcam footage in the area at the time of the incident.
