Investigators with the York Regional Police #2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking witnesses after shots were fired in the City of Richmond Hill.
On Sunday, March 14, 2021 at approximately 7:10 a.m., York Regional Police were called to Laverock Avenue, which is in the area of Yonge Street and Elgin Mills Road, for a report of gunshots fired at a vehicle in the driveway of a residence. When officers arrived, they located shell casings and bullet holes in the vehicle. No one was injured during the incident.
Investigators are appealing for any witnesses who have not yet spoken with police to come forward, as well as anyone with residential video surveillance or dashcam footage from the area at the time.
