A personal support worker is facing charges in relation to alleged elder abuse at a care home in Vaughan, and York Regional Police believe there could be more victims.
On Feb. 2, police were contacted about incidents of elder abuse at the care home. An 89-year-old man, who was a resident at the home, was assaulted by a personal support worker on Jan. 29 and Feb. 2, police said in a news release.
Suman Soni, 32, of Caledon, has been charged with two counts of assault.
Police are asking any other victims to come forward.
