Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit are seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect following an armed robbery at a gas station in the City of Vaughan.

On Sunday, March 17, 2019, at approximately 2:20 a.m., a male suspect attended a gas station located on Dufferin Street north of Highway 7. The suspect (allegedly) took out a knife and demanded cash from the employee. The suspect obtained a quantity of cash and fled on foot in a southeast direction.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

Suspect described as:

  • Male, white
  • 5’11”, medium build
  • Wearing a backwards baseball cap, sunglasses, a green winter jacket, black sweat pants, white socks and black running shoes

The investigation is ongoing.
