Police search for 2nd suspect in assault outside Main Street Newmarket pub

York Regional Police are searching for a second man in connection with an assault outside a Main Street pub in Newmarket last August that resulted in the victim's jaw being broken.

Several men were initially engaged in a verbal altercation before the victim was punched and kicked in the head during the incident Sunday, Aug. 15 at about 2 a.m. near the Grey Goat Pub and Grill at 74 Main St., according to Crime Stoppers York Region's Crime of the Week. 

Police have released an image of the suspect, who is described as a 25 to 30-year-old male with light brown skin, and a medium build with tattoos on both arms. At the time of the assault, he was wearing a white t-shirt, dark pants, and two gold chains. 

This is the second suspect Crime Stoppers has released a photo of in relation to this incident.
