A pedestrian was transported to a trauma centre Thursday evening after a motor vehicle collision at a Newmarket intersection.
York Regional Police responded to a call at about 6 p.m. Jan. 11 near Davis Drive and Harry Walker Parkway.
A man was struck at the intersection and suffered serious injuries, police said.
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene.
