Investigators with the York Regional Police #4 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking witnesses following a shooting that occurred in the City of Vaughan.
On Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at 3:45 a.m., officers responded after hearing the sounds of gunshots in the area of Dufferin Street and Major Mackenzie Drive. Officers located a vehicle fleeing from the scene at a high rate of speed. Three occupants were taken into custody. Bullet holes were found in the vehicle and a handgun was located.
Officers are asking any witnesses who may have been in the area at the time who have not yet spoken to police to please come forward. Investigators are also seeking any video surveillance from the area or anyone that may have captured dashcam video on the roadways.
