Police are looking for suspects and witnesses after two vehicles were set on fire last week in Vaughan.
York Regional Police responded at about 3 a.m. Friday to a residence in the area of Major Mackenzie Drive and Melville Avenue for a report of a fire. When officers arrived, two vehicles were engulfed in flames. A truck that was on fire was unoccupied, but neighbouring homes were evacuated as a precaution due to the extent of the flames.
Vaughan firefighters extinguished the blaze, and no one was injured.
Video shows two suspects arriving in a dark-coloured SUV, with one of them carrying a jerry can.
