Missing Aurora man found deceased

York Regional Police has sadly located the body of a 21-year-old man, who was missing from the Town of Aurora. [Name removed] was last seen on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2019, around 7 a.m., when he drove away from his residence in the area of Bayview Avenue and Wellington Street. He had not been in touch with family and friends since he left.

On Friday, October 25, 2019, at approximately 3 p.m., officers with the York Regional Police Search and Rescue Unit located the vehicle he had been driving, as well as [name removed], who was deceased in a wooded area near Warden Avenue and Aurora Road.
