Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit are seeking witnesses following a home invasion robbery that occurred in the City of Richmond Hill.

On Tuesday, May 12, 2020 shortly before 11 p.m., police were called to a residence on Maffey Crescent in the area of Yonge Street and Gamble Road for a report of a home invasion. When officers arrived, they spoke with the victim, a 38-year-old man who was not physically injured. The victim advised that he had arrived home and parked his car in the garage. When he exited his vehicle, there were two men with guns waiting. They stole a quantity of cash and fled the area prior to police arrival.
