Man suspected of voyeurism at Vaughan Mills mall

Mall security observed a suspect following females and recording them with his cellphone, according to Crime Stoppers of York Region's crime of the week

York Regional Police are searching for a man suspected of voyeurism at Vaughan Mills mall after he was captured on video surveillance following females and recording them with his cellphone.

Crime Stoppers of York Region released a video of the suspect who was at the mall on Bass Pro Mills Drive at about 4:30 p.m. Saturday, May 21.

The suspicious behaviour was observed by mall security, according to police.

The crime of the week report describes the suspect as male, white, aged 30 to 35, about 5 feet 7 inches tall with short black hair. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a white Tommy Hilfiger shirt, blue jeans and dark Adidas shoes.
