Man suspected of taking photos in women's washroom at Walmart

The victim reported to police that a man held a cellphone under the stall in the washroom at the Richmond Hill store, according to Crime Stoppers of York Region's crime of the week

A man is suspected of taking photographs and videos of a woman in the washroom of a Walmart in Richmond Hill, according to Crime Stoppers of York Region's crime of the week. 

York Regional Police said the victim observed the suspect using his cellphone to take photos and videos in the woman's bathroom by holding the device under the stall she was in at the 255 Silver Linden Dr. store on Tuesday, Sept. 20.

The suspect fled the store after being confronted but he was seen on video surveillance prior to that. 

The man wanted for voyeurism is described as a Middle Eastern male, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a shaved head and medium build. He was wearing a green short sleeve shirt, black pants, and black and white Adidas style flip flops. He spoke English but possibly with an accent.
