A man was stabbed in the early morning hours of Saturday on Main Street South in Newmarket.
Officers responded to an assault call at 1:11 a.m. Oct. 7 on Main near Queen Street in Newmarket's downtown, according to York Regional Police.
The stabbing victim has serious but non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
