A man in his 30s arrived at a York Region hospital today with a gunshot wound.
The man's injury is not life-threatening, according to York Regional Police.
He arrived at the hospital at around 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 8.
Police posted an appeal for witnesses on X (Twitter), but no location was provided, as police said they are still trying to determine where the shooting occurred.
4 District (Vaughan) criminal investigations bureau is in the preliminary stages of its investigation, according to police.
“It’s an active investigation, police are actively looking to determine the location of the shooting and are appealing to any witnesses to come forward,” according to a police spokesperson.
