Investigators with the York Regional Police Major Collision Investigation Unit are seeking witnesses following a fatal collision in the City of Vaughan.
On Saturday, June 11, 2022, at approximately 10:35 a.m., York Regional Police were called to the area of the 407 exit ramp at Keele Street for reports of a two-vehicle collision. An Acura collided with a Mazda CX9 with three occupants, a driver and two 12-year-old children.
The driver of the Acura was transported to hospital but sadly succumbed to his injuries.
The occupants of the Mazda were all taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators are appealing to any witnesses who have not yet spoken with police or anyone who may have dashcam footage or residential video surveillance of the collision, to please come forward.
