The York Regional Police homicide unit is investigating after three people were found deceased inside a home in Richmond Hill this afternoon.
Officers responded to a call for a welfare check at a residence near Yonge Street and Carrville Road, where they found three people deceased, on Thursday, Feb. 1 at about 4:15 p.m., according to a York Regional Police news release.
The incident appears to be isolated and investigators do not believe there is any threat to public safety, police said.
Any witnesses who have not yet spoken to investigators are urged to come forward.
