A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a Georgina man wanted for uttering threats of violence and stealing a vehicle.

In a news release, York Regional Police said officers responded Monday to a report of a man who threatened to harm someone and then stole a vehicle in the Port Bolster area of Georgina.

Simeon Vrantsidis, 41, is considered armed and dangerous. He could be driving a brown 2011 Toyota RAV4 with licence plate number CRLF823. Anyone who sees him is advised to not approach him, but to call police.
