Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit are seeking four suspects following a violent carjacking in the City of Vaughan.

On Sunday, October 2, 2022, around 5:15 p.m., officers were called to the area of Fairlane Crescent and Starling Boulevard, for a report of a carjacking.

The victim was driving a 2022 black Toyota RAV4, delivering food to a residence. He exited his vehicle, where one male suspect met him in the driveway. Three other male suspects approached the victim from behind and violently attacked him. All four suspects assaulted the victim. The suspects took the keys from the victim, along with his personal belongings and stole his vehicle.

The four suspects left the scene prior to police arriving.

The suspects are described as: Male, Black, wearing dark-coloured clothing.

Investigators are appealing to any witnesses who have not yet spoken with police to come forward. Officers would also like to speak with anyone who may have video surveillance or dashcam footage of the incident.
