Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit are seeking four suspects following an attempted carjacking in the City of Markham.

On Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022, at 2:40 a.m., officers were called to the area of Aitken Circle, near Toogood Pond Park, and learned the victim had left a residence to get in his 2020 yellow Lamborghini Urus, when four male suspects approached him. One suspect pointed a firearm at him.

The victim was able to flee the scene and contact police, however, the suspects fled the area prior to police arriving.

The four suspects are described as: male, 5 feet 8 inches, 165 pounds with thin builds.

Investigators are appealing to any witnesses who have not yet spoken with police to come forward. Officers would also like to speak with anyone who may have video surveillance or dashcam footage of the incident.
