An employee at a plaza at the intersection of Yonge Street and Mulock Drive was assaulted Monday morning, York Regional Police said.
York Regional Police received a call at about 6:10 a.m. that an assault took place at the plaza.
"An employee at the plaza was reportedly assaulted by a homeless person," said Sgt. Clint Whitney.
Police said that the employee received minor injuries, while the suspect fled on foot and was last seen heading north on Yonge Street.
