A 34-year-old East Gwillimbury woman faces multiple drug trafficking charges following a traffic stop in Kitchener last night.
Officers on proactive patrol conducted a traffic stop on Homer Watson Boulevard June 15 at about 11:40 p.m., according to a Waterloo Regional Police Service news release.
As a result of the investigation, officers seized suspected hydromorphone, cocaine and MDMA, police said.
The East Gwillimbury woman and a 36-year-old Peterborough man were both arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking (three counts). The woman is also facing charges of possession of a stolen credit card.
Both individuals were held in police custody for a bail hearing.
Waterloo Regional Police Service do not provide the names of persons arrested.
