Eight residents of the Greater Toronto Area face charges for gathering at a cottage in Gravenhurst last weekend.
Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a complaint about the gathering at a cottage on Saturday, May at 10:30 p.m., according to an OPP news release.
The province's stay-at-home order bans gatherings outside of household members.
The individuals were each charged a $750 fine under the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act.
