4 men wanted in $26K cellphone robbery at Newmarket's Walmart

Four men are wanted in connection with the theft of cellphones valued at $26,000 from Walmart in Newmarket.

The suspects forced open a cabinet in the electronics department to remove multiple iPhones at about 6 p.m. March 30 at the retail outlet at 17940 Yonge St., according to Crime Stoppers York Region.

The men then left the premises after concealing the cellphones in black backpacks also taken from the store, the Unsolved Crime of the Week report stated.

Video surveillance photographs of the suspects, ranging in age from 20 to 25, have been released in the hopes of identifying them.
