Aurora woman charged with impaired in 3-vehicle collision in Georgina

A 34-year-old Aurora woman faces impaired driving charges in the wake of a three-vehicle collision in Georgina Saturday night.

Aurora Ontario Provincial Police responded to the collision on June 8 on Highway 48.

Police said a driver registered more than triple the legal alcohol limit. 

The woman was charged with impaired driving, speeding over 80 kilometres per hour, careless driving and a novice driver with a blood alcohol content above zero, according to OPP.

One person was taken to hospital with minor injuries resulting from the crash, police said.
