The Ontario Provincial Police are advising motorists of delays on southbound Highway 400 near Highway 88 following a two-vehicle collision involving a pickup truck and transport truck.

The blue pickup was travelling eastbound on Highway 88 toward the southbound Highway 400 ramp when it lost control merging onto the highway, went sideways and was struck by the transport truck travelling southbound on Highway 400 before 11 a.m. Feb. 4.

OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt said injuries appear to be minor and vehicles are currently being cleared off the road.

Police say roads are dry, but ramps are still covered with slush and snow, and remind motorists to drive carefully.
