William (Bill) Edward Wilcox, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, on Wednesday February 16, 2022, in his 72nd year. Dad courageously battled multiple medical obstacles over the last couple of years. Throughout it all he showed incredible strength and unwavering perseverance. He accepted what was and did as he wanted, his way.

Loving husband of the late Anne Wilcox. Beloved father of Tammy Wilcox, Cory Wilcox (Shadrin), Theresa Chadillon (Bernard), Paul Pickett (Janine), Rick Pickett. Proud grandfather of Sylene, Alyssa, Liam, Cody, Taylor, Peyton, Simonne (Matt), Stefanie (Brian), Melissa, Caley, Raven, Devin. Great grandfather to Phillip, Haley, Charlotte, Marcus, Izayah. Son of the late Nora Gaffey. Survived by his sister Doris Muir (John). Pre-deceased by his brother Ronnie Ogden (Adele).

Dad did not find it easy to express his feelings openly, as he has always been a "loner" type of man. That being said one thing is for certain, his love for his family ran deep and was truly heartfelt. Dad will be fondly remembered for many things, some of which were him famously singing Elvis songs around campfires at the trailers and family functions, as well as his multiple famous hairbrushes for the upkeep of his Elvis hair. His "quick visit" policy in his home. His quirky sense of humor. Being a die hard Toronto sports fan and still being a believer that the Maple Leafs will win a Stanley Cup.

We would like to say a special thank you to the Bradford Valley staff, especially Carolyn, "Thelma & Louise", Nick and Ranjith of the Simcoe floor, for all of the great care they provided to our father over the last year.
In accordance with our dads wishes, there will be no funeral service and a private Celebration of Life will be held on a date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Spinal Cord Injury Ontario or SCIO.
