August 27, 1935 – February 5, 2022

We sadly said goodbye to our mom, Anne White on Saturday February 5, 2022 at Southlake after a year long fight against CHF and plural effusion. Mom was born in North Toronto to Donald and Lillian Young (nee Sweetman), lived on Keewatin Ave. and attended Allenby PS, John Fisher PS and Northern Secondary School. She married our dad (G. Paul White, passed 2000) in 1958 and they moved to Roosevelt Drive in Richvale until their move to Holland Landing in 1970. Many great memories were made in HL including epic Christmas and New Years get togethers as well as snowmobiling in winter and boating in the summer. Our mom never worried how many of our friends were at the house at dinner time – she fed us all. When a nephew needed a home, mom stepped up and was granted guardianship. There were moves to Keswick, Argyle and finally Kirkfield. Mom lived on her own until a year or so ago when she moved to Carresant Care in Lindsay and then to Cedarvale in Keswick.

Mom is survived by children Geoff (Paulette) of Cannington, Paula (Jason Williams) of Keswick and Rob (Pat) of Holland Marsh. She is predeceased by her sister Donna Montgomery and Patsy Meggeson as well as her grandson Devon O’Neill Williams. She is survived by sister Jeanette Rusnak. Grandma’s “words of wisdom” and “guidance” (wink, wink) will be missed by grandchildren Bonnie and Dawn (M. DaSilva) White, Paul (Lisa) and Christopher Hanlon, Amanda (Robert Andrews), Sarah and Samantha White and Britton Williams. Auntie Anne will be missed by Connie, Scott, Karen, Lesley and many others.
A celebration of life and interment will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Cdn. Marfan Assoc. / Genetic Aortic disorders at www.gadacanada.ca in memory of Anne White and in honour of her grandson Devon Williams.
