Passed away peacefully after a brave battle with cancer, with his mother by his side, at the Margaret Bahen Hospice, in Newmarket, on Wednesday, January 25th, 2023, at 46 years of age. Most precious son and pride and joy of Esther Waugh. Beloved nephew of Joan, Lloyd and David, predeceased by uncles Billy and Bobby and cousin Jamie Brideau. Grandson of the late Emmerson and Berenna "Nean" Waugh. Brian will be dearly missed by his family and his many friends at Dorchester.

Brian will always be remembered for the love and happiness he shared with those around him. Forming many close friendships with residents and staff at Dorchester, especially with Perry, Deanna, Beth and Debbie; who all went above and beyond to ensure that Brian was well looked after. Brian's love of shopping and designer clothing was inspired by Perry. He loved the song "Skinny Marinky Dinky Dink", anytime it was played he would be filled with happiness and would dance along. Most of all, Brian loved his mom, and always eagerly awaited her visits.

Special thanks to the staff with Community Living - Central York, for taking such excellent care of Brian for 27 years. Your kindness and support throughout the years has made a significant impact on Brian and his family. Thank you to the staff at the Margaret Bahen Hospice for their care and compassion in the last months of Brian’s life.

A memorial service will be held at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home on Thursday, February 2nd at 2 p.m. with visitation 1 hour prior. For all those who are not able to attend in person the service will be live streamed.
