December 20th, 1941 - December 10th, 2023

Passed away peacefully at home on Sunday December 10, 2023 in his 82nd year.

Loving husband of Ann (nee Shipman) for 55 years. Beloved father of Linda, Tommy and Sally (Tarryl). Cherished grandfather of Talia, Kezia and Trinity. Dear family of Anita, her daughters Nicola (Roy) and Julia and Nicola's son Rowan. Beloved son of the late Hector and Elsie Wall. Adored brother of Myrna (late Ewen Brett). Sadly missed by his siblings-in-law Michael and Heather, Helene and Mike, Ken and Donna. Proud uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Harold was born in Moreton's Harbour, Newfoundland. Even as a very young toddler, he was creating home made signs with his parents and later learned ASL. He had a fulfilling life spent with his family, friends, at his cottage, and at his home in Holland Landing. His greatest joy was when he was surrounded by his family, grandchildren, dogs and cats. He was known as a quiet, kind man who liked to spend his time tinkering around with his tools and building things, and working in his yards and garden. He kept active around his house up to the day he passed away. He got his dearest wish to spend his final moments at home.

A private final remembrance ceremony (by invitation only) at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home on Thursday December 14, 2023. A celebration of life will be arranged in the near future. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Bob Rumball Canadian Centre of Excellence for the Deaf (BRCCED) or Canadian Cancer Society. Online condolences at www.roadhouseandrose.com.
