February 3rd, 1946 - October 14th, 2023
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jean-Marie Vetter on October 14th, 2023 in his 77th year. He leaves behind his wife Nicole of 55 years, his beloved sons Frederic (Guylaine) and Daniel (Karen) and his cherished grandchildren Pascale, Yannick (Noelle) and Emily. Jean-Marie is also survived by his siblings Francois (Marie-Helene), Marie-Anne (Frederic) ,and Benoit (Christelle) and many special friends who all live in France.
He will be missed by many, especially by his sister-in-law Christelle (Pascal), nephews, nieces, great-nieces and great-nephews. A warm Thank You to the wonderful and caring staff at the cancer palliative care ward at Southlake Hospital.
Jean-Marie was an avid gardener and was happiest when outdoors. He took great pride in creating and maintaining his vegetable and flower gardens. This created an inviting environment for entertaining many friends and family.
We will remember Jean-Marie’s special touch with children and the elderly. His gentle and calm demeanor made them feel safe and at ease when around him. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place.
In his honour, remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
