September 11th, 1927 - October 7th, 2023
It is with profound sadness that we announce having to say our final goodbyes to this beautiful soul💕. Dorothy (Nana, Dot) passed away Oct 7, 2023 at 3:45 am with her daughter Marg by her side.
She chose how she lived her life (and I pity the souls that got in her way…) and she chose how she left this earth. I’m sure she is with the love of her life; David Rollings, her daughter; Nancy McGuigan, her grandson Conrad Rollings….. and the many friends and family that passed before her. Once you met Nana….you never forgot her❤️.
Family was everything to her and she was the kindest soul you could ever meet (once you got past the tough exterior🤣). Nana is survived by her son; Don Rollings and daughter; Marg Wiseman, 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren. A special thank you to the staff at Newmarket Health Center that cared for Nana and loved her like their own mother/grandmother; your care made it easier for us to rest at night knowing she was in your loving hands.
Funeral will be held at Roadhouse and Rose on October 19, 2023. Viewing at 11am—Legion Service at 12:45pm–Minister Service at 1pm— Reception at 1:45pm—Newmarket Cemetery at 3:30pm. Dorothy was a life time member of the Newmarket Legion Ladies Auxiliary (Branch 426) and the family will forever be grateful for the support and generosity shown by the Legion and the Ladies Auxiliary. Rest well my lady.
