Passed away peacefully at Margaret Bahen Hospice in Newmarket, on Thursday February 29, 2024 in his 83rd year. Loving husband of the late Judy Yvone Semple. Beloved father of Kevin Semple (Sherri), Jodi (Mark) Macalpine, Niels Semple and Paula Kemp. Proud grandfather of Tiffany, Thomas, Mathew, Isaac, Monika, Brooke, Kennedy, Mack, Averie, Megan, Emma, and Lauren. Great-grandfather of Iris and Hudson. Brother of the late William Semple. Dear son of the late Thomas and Eleanor Semple.
Wayne was born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. He was passionate about his late dog Molly, his family and work; working up until the age of 79 years old. Special thanks to the caring staff and volunteers at Margaret Bahen Hospice.
The visitation will take place at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. S., Newmarket on Saturday March 9, 2024 from 9-11 a.m. A Funeral service will follow in the Chapel.
