Our hero, Guerrino “Rino” Gabriele Desiderio Giovanni Rocco, passed away peacefully at home in Newmarket, on Friday January 26th, in his 68th year.
Loving father of Sebastian, Cassidy, Eliza, and Sadie. He’s dearly missed by best friend for life, Lesley, and brother, Mark.
Rino was born to Liberata and Alberto Rocco in Collarmele, Italy on May 22, 1955. He came to Canada at the age of 3 and lived in the Toronto area for most of his life where he was involved largely in the community. When he started a family he moved north of the city and enjoyed many years in the countryside.
Rino was educated at York University in Film after which he celebrated a long career in the Television industry. He was an avid collector, wine-maker, writer, and music lover.
A friend to all, Rino knew no stranger.
And so, we invite you all, family, friends, and neighbours to celebrate Rino’s life at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. S., Newmarket on Thursday February 1st from 3-6pm.
