Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on Sunday, June 4th, 2023 in his 67th year.
Beloved father of Marion McDonald (Neill), Ashley Ring (Darren Brown), and Erika Senyo (Clayton). Kind and fun-loving uncle to Courtney Richards (Adam), Lindsey Twynam, and Ryan Wyatt. Proud Opa of two grandchildren, Vanessa and Woody.
Peter is predeceased by brothers Harold and Michael and survived by siblings Helga Evans (Paul), Margaret Twynam (Chris), Eric Ring, and Hilde Wyatt (Ken).
Son of the late Michael and Charlotte Ring.
Peter graduated Seneca College with honours from the Golf Course Technician program in 1983. He had an illustrious and rewarding career as a golf course superintendent and groundskeeper, and he took great pride in his work. He was an avid golfer throughout his life and played in many tournaments. He was also a power-lifter who qualified at the National level. We watched in awe as he did a deadlift, his favourite type of lift, of 402 lbs while competing in May 2014 at the age of 57. He loved being outdoors, was a voracious reader, loved music, and appreciated a great glass of wine. Of everything he did and accomplished in life, he always said he was the most proud of his three daughters who he adored. He will be cherished forever and greatly missed.
