Jana Helena Prevratska Radomil B.A.(P.H.E.), B.Sc. (P.T.), D.O.M.P.  was born July 5, 1945 and passed away peacefully amongst friends on September 25, 2023.

Jana was originally from Prague, Czech Republic, and was the daughter of Karel Prevratsky and Jaroslava Nee Maskova. She survived one sister, Jarmila, whom she loved dearly and missed terribly upon her passing in 2016. Jana moved to Canada as a political refugee in 1982 and continued fighting for political freedom all of her life. She was a strong and capable woman who knew what she wanted and with great determination, put herself through school to become both a Physiotherapist and Osteopathic Practitioner.

Many patients attest to her healing hands producing “miracles” in their bodies and it forever changed the way they functioned. Her goal was to teach others how to understand their bodies so that they too could bring healing to their ailments. Even after her dire medical diagnosis in 2017, Jana continued to research, write and create artwork. She was writing a book to help the masses do for themselves what she could no longer do herself anymore. It was her hope that even after her death her book would go on to be published, and therefore, assigned several people to this task.

Her heart for helping others through Osteopathy lives on and will continue to affect many lives. Jana lived a full life with her husband and best friend, Eugene Radomil, who passed away on December 9, 2022. They were a very special couple and their final resting place will be together in Prague.
