Passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, on Friday, February 10th, 2023 at 68 years of age.
Beloved wife of the late Paul Pegg. Loving mother to her two fur-babies, Millie and Louie. Sister of Freida (Joe), the late Gerry (Judy), and the late Bobby (Barb). Survived by sister-in-law Treava (Juan). Daughter of Mary Moreau and the late Ivan Steeves. Cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by many dear friends and colleagues.
Mary-Ellen will be remembered for her kindness and giving nature; traits that served her patients well during her career as a registered nurse. She started her career at York County Hospital which later was re-named as Southlake Regional Health Centre. She retired after over 40 years in the profession.
In honour of Mary-Ellen’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
