November 3rd, 1939 - June 8th, 2022

Passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 82 years of age. Loving wife of the late James Douglas Pegg. Beloved mother to Brenda, Ann-Marie, Paul, Connie, Tammie (David), Helen, Karen Tina (Mark), and Seann (Jennifer). Cherished grandmother of Briann (Zack), Josh (Melissa), Hilary, Bethsaida, Ryan (Tara), Jeffrey (Lindsay), Zachary, Miles, Amber, Sarah, John, and Liam. Proud great-grandmother of Rogue, Sebastian, Caleb, Emily, Claire, Kameron, Kolton, Isaac, Emma, Yelena, Yasmin, Ely, and Elias.

Barbara enjoyed the simpler things life had to offer. She loved time with her family whether at a holiday BBQ, road trips or beating her kids at cribbage.

Barbara had a love for food with a very distinguished palette. Some of her favourites included the Mandarin, Swiss Chalet, and the Halibut House. She was also known to never pass up a good pickled beet and mayo sandwich.

She loved the Gospel of Jesus Christ and was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. But most of all, she loved her family and was proud of and loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 18th at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (820 Gorham Street, Newmarket) with one hour of visitation prior.
Following the funeral service Barbara will be taken to her place of rest at the Queensville Cemetery (20778 Leslie Street, Queensville).

All are welcome to join the family at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints following the burial for a time of fellowship and refreshment.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
