PAOLUCCI, Elenor Marion (nee Urquhart)

Elenor passed away peacefully at her home in Newmarket with family by her side, on Saturday January 28, 2023, in her 87th year.

Loving wife and best friend of her “sailor boy”, the late Jack Paolucci for over 60 wonderful years. Beloved mother of her three boys and their wives, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

John (Sally), Gordon (Jackie) and Michael (Denise). Proud grandmother of Cam (Jenny), Shauna (Duane), Cal (Candice), Nikki (Clay), Jessica (Andrew), Michael (Amber), Nicholas and Samantha. Doting great grandmother of Olivia, Gavin, Quinten, Ryder, Elyse, Nora, Mila, Jack and Isla.

She is survived by her brothers, George and Gordon Urquhart. Sister of the late Jean Cullum (nee Urquhart). Loving daughter of the late George and Pearl Urquhart.

Elenor loved to laugh and was well known for her saucy wit. She enjoyed family gatherings and attending the children’s events, performances and games. She was an avid reader and enjoyed writing poems. Elenor loved music and was the first one on the dance floor when her son and grandson’s band played. She loved Neil Diamond and right up till her last days his music would bring an instant smile to her face. She was quick with a kind word or words of encouragement and would brighten up any room or situation. She had unwavering love and support for her family and friends and had a particular soft spot for children. When the young ones came to visit she would always be found on the floor playing with them. She brought great love, joy and happiness to us all and was truly a blessing in our lives.

Elenor’s joy, warm smile, cheerful disposition, humour and the sound of her laughter will be greatly missed. Her love and support will be missed the most.

When we look up to the night’s sky we will think of you and hear your sweet words, “Love you to the moon and back”. We will know that you and your love are with us now and forever. Until we meet again.
