On March 22nd, 2023, our beautiful mom, Helen Oakes (nee Krukowski), left us to be with the love of her life, our Dad, after battling with dementia.
She passed away peacefully with her family by her side.
Helen was born on December 18th, 1935 in Saskatchewan. She is predeceased by her husband William (Bill) Oakes. She left behind her children Lisa (Chuck) and David (Pam) and her grandchildren Maya, Mitchell, Spencer and Shannon, and her younger brother Joseph (Deborah).
Helen was a loving mother and a devoted grandmother.
We will miss our family home and we will miss her at the family cottage where we all have such cherished memories.
A private service will take place.
