Passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Care Centre in Newmarket on May 13, 2023 at the age of 87. Thongdy was a loving wife of predeceased Vanhdy, mother of predeceased Lamdouane (Chanh), Somthavone (Phetsamone), Viengphone (Vieng), Patty and Chanhome (Vankham). She was a proud grandmother to 13 grandchildren and 17 great- grandchildren.
Thongdy was known as a generous, light hearted and compassionate soul who loved her Saviour and her family. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and always remembered in their hearts.
Visitation will be held at Taylor Funeral Home in Newmarket on Thursday, May 18 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and on Friday, May 19 from 6:00- 8:00 p.m. and words of remembrance will be shared at 7:00 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 20 at 10:00 at 221 Carlson Dr., Grace Church, Newmarket with visitation at the church from 9:30 a.m. -10:00 a.m. Interment at Newmarket Cemetery.
